Hi,
I have a 2002 Civic Si. I'm looking to install an Alpine Navigation system, and I was wondering the color of and where I can find the Reverse Wire and the Speed Pulse Wire?
I have the 2002-2004 Civic Hatchback Service Manual that you pick up at the dealer. If you can point me to the section or give me some clues that would be very helpful.

If you like I can check tomorrow what wire I hooked my avic up to. I have a 2004 ex. Its a hard wire to find because the manual could say white/red (Which I think mine is) and there could be 3-4 white red wires under the dash. In order to find the right one I stuck a power probe to each one and figured out which one went according to wheel speed not rpms. I did this by jacking the car up and putting it on jackstands while doing this I probed each wire until I found the wire that made noise reletive to wheel speed. The faster the wheels the faster the noise. As for the backup wire. I believe you just wire that into your reverse lights I can also look that up if you still need to know.

Reverse is only needed if doing a backup camera (uncommon in a passenger car). VSS is likely blue/white at your cluster and ECM.
