Setting up Int. LED lights

Hey guys,

I have a 2002 manual DX coupe and i was wondering if anyone could link me a nice D.I.Y. guide on how to set up interior LED lights that I'm going to put under my seats. I do not want to wire the lights to my headlights because i wanna be able to turn them on and off separately, so preferably i need a guide that is going to show one how to hot wire the lights to a wire in the dash somewhere.

I know i could prolly just do a google search and find some but i want some reviews on the guide, any words of concern or anything like that you may have about the guide. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

P.S. any suggestions on some smoked taillights and headlights for cheap?

Re: Setting up Int. LED lights

for leds, you can just tap into the 12v socket wires behind the dash piece. its already fused, so just connect them there. you can put a switch on it too if you want to be able to control them manually. most switches at radioshack or auto store work just fine. they have an input power that comes from the 12v socket power wire, and an output wire that goes to the led lights. some switches also have an optional ground wire if it has an internal light. then you just ground the led lights to the chassis or the black 12v socket ground wire. i can draw a pic if its hard to understand.

check ebay for all sorts of heads and tails. search '01 civic headlight' or something

Re: Setting up Int. LED lights

I dont need a switch to turn them on and off because my LEDs came with a switch box bc my LEDs can change color. So i just needed to know where to hotwire them, thanks.

Re: Setting up Int. LED lights

for the smoked head lights i found a diy on here to actually save you the trouble of buying new ones. i did it and i think it looks great but i dont have pics yet. you could always try ebay, too. the ones i was trying to copy were like 150 but like i said, it was pretty easy to do it yourself.
