02 coupe have Tweeter Plug?
02 coupe have Tweeter Plug?
So Yeah I got some OEM Tweeters with the mirror covers and LOVE them. Does anyone know if there is a plug to plug the tweeter in in my door? I have an LX and these were on an EX. Let me know!

i thought only the ex coupe comes factory with tweeters. be careful how you just "cut and splice" you cant just tap them to the front speakers it will mess up the ohm load and possibly blow your stereo. the only way to really add tweeters (without buying aftermarket components that come with a crossover) is if you run the other speakers off an amp and then run the tweeters off the deck power. and also i dont know if the factory tweeters come with any type of bass blocker or small crossover otherwise you will blow them up pretty quick.

They do, and yes you can do this, as I was reading the HONDA manual at my work (honda) and that plug goes into the speakers wiring. Its all connected.. I will see again.
Re: 02 coupe have Tweeter Plug?
On my car the front door speakers have two sets of wires because of the tweeters (from the factory). It should be fine to run them on the factory stereo but, if you are using an aftermarket radio, I would suggest using bass blockers. I'm sure if you went to Honda or a junk yard you could buy the OEM plugs for your tweeter/front speaker set up like the EX's but I think it would be easier to just run wire behind the panels and splice them under the dash or behind the deck with the wires for the front speakers. In my car all four wires are connected to one plug that connects to the front speakers in the doors.
