hey people...

i installed a dei 529t, on my sun roof in my car.. i drive a 2005 honda civic ex. the instructions say that if you have a venting sunroof (which i do) you will need a spdt relay and a dei 452t pulse generator.

my questions you ya'll.

has any one did this to there car?
how did you wire to the factory limit switch?

any input will be much apreciated..

i am a car audio installer, and me and another installer couldnt figure it out.

well the pulse generator is so that the roof vents completely and not just a tiny bit. the relay i think is because of the way the switch is wired. i have no idea how to install those things tho.

ok i figured it out.. you need a 528t or a tr7 pulse timer to act as a limit switch. if you all would like i could do a write up.. just let me know.

I DID IT!!!!

i used a DEI 452t pulse generator and tapped into the factory limit switch so now when i lock the car the sunroof closes and doesnt vents...

hey whats up hope that install went well, um i had a question i have an 04 civic lx coupe and installing a 791xv i got the bypass and ign wires straight but i was wondering about the horn the sheet says its orange- but theres two of them in the steering column also wondering about the keyless entry can i just hook up the lock n unlock or do i need diodes or anything thanks man

yeah u need to use a few diodes, i have the same system on my car. with that system though you can add on more with it that makes it nice to have.
to the op yeah those mod are sick i have it on my windoes and now i am going to do my sunroof.

so is the diode just to make my signal from the brain go out but not come back? so one on lock and the other on unlock? its funny ive been an electrician for 4 yrs but electronics is a bit different

i think i used the diode for the doom light because it was back feeding

No need for diode on lock wires. Test horn wire with a multimeter. If you don't have a meter get out of the car!

is the DEI 529T wired the same way as the 530T?

i bought a couple 530T's awhile back but have yet to install them

i wanted to control the front windows and the moonroof.

would be great if you can post up a diy...thanks

the 529t is 1 window in two directions or 2 windows in one direction

the 530t is 2 windows in two directions

Hey man could you help me out. I just bought one of these for the sunroof and I can't figure it out.

What I'm trying to do is have the open/close sunroof button be automatic so I don't have to hold them down. I'm not trying to hook it up to an alarm or anything like that, so what I'm looking for might be different than what you did.

Anyway I have it hooked up how I think it's supposed to be but when I hit the buttons it's not automatic, I still have to push and hold. Essentially the same as the buttons originally worked.

Do you know whats up? Can you tell me what the colours were of the from the car? There's 2 red 2 green a blue and a black I think and I'm not sure what they are all for, I just see a 12v signal on 1 green and 1 red I believe.

well you dont use anything at the switch every thing you need it under the headliner in the back. i am on honda-street.com and 7thgenhona.com more than this site.. hit me up there i check this site one in a blue moon

I bought the parts and completely abandoned this project but I would like to get back to this now. I still can't find any better info online. The wiring diagram would have been helpful.
