Does 600 watt's through each sub on the monoblock 1200watt, does that sound right? If I bridged it, it would be 1200 watts through each(or whatever RMS) right? I know not to do that, my subs would be toast

Yeah, my amp is the MTX Thunder 5601. It is 600 watts at 2 ohms.(I thought it was 1200, it's not) I may be trading for a Memphis Mclass 500 watt 2 channel bridgeable amp though. Anyone familiar with the Memphis 2 channel MClass?

nopeee. n hinge, my i have a 10" 82oz magnet per one, n i personally think its overkill. mine also take 500rms per DVC sub, n thats almost more than the car can supply combined with amped speakers, which im running. and we dunno about how good the amp is matched unless we can get the subs rating.

ok so i have 2 4 ohm dvc subs wired in Parallel so that should give me 2 ohms or 4? the 2 subs are 1200 watts rms would this amp work good.

all 4 coils in parallel will give you 1 ohm. that amp is 1 ohm stable and would give you 500w RMS per coil. what do you need that much for? a single 12" on 100w RMS is enough bass for a civic for me.
