Opinion on this enclosure?

I was looking at this enclosure and I like the way it looks, plus the idea of 3 12's in my trunk appeals to me, but I am a little less than knowledgeable about subs, so I'd like some intelligent opinions on it. I have a friend who can get it for me for $400 (last one they have at his shop), so I think it's a pretty good deal. What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Are the subs seriously thump-worthy? Can you suggest an amp that can handle them? Appreciate any info.

Hey JL has a tight 1000/1 monoblock that stays at 1000 either way you break it down 2 4 ohms etc. you would be running those JLs at about 334 rms which is in the yellow area some people wont like this setup but that JL amp is tight.

Cool beans. So that 1 amp would be able to adequately push all three subs? What about the quality of the subs?

Seeing as those are JL W0's a JL1000/1 will fry them in a flash... a 500/1 would be a good amp for them...now..if those were W3's..then a 1000/1 would be fine..

Cheers

Sooooo. . .this enclosure with a 500/1 will be adequate. . .but how is the sound quality? Would I do better to build a similar box and put different woofers in it?

Thanks Mohawk. Hey, I heard you have the same color Civic as mine, that vintage plum (weird purple-burgundy-brown-at night looks black) crap. Any plans on painting it, or do you just like that color?

Yeah, if that color isn't a theft deterrent, you know for a fact that your thief walks with a dog and a red and white cane.
