crossover settings

I have a Pioneer deh-p7300 HU and this weekend I will be installing my new AutoTek 400.4 amp and 5.25 Infinity Kappa Components.

My question is this:
What settings to I use on the HU regarding the comps.? Same on the amp. Do i set the built in crossover to Flat?

My plan is to power the comps from two of the four channels and then bridge the remaining two to power a single 12" sub.

My HU (for those of you who have the same one, you will understand what I mean) has a sub output, which I will link to the amps 3 and 4 channel RCAs. The HU has a gain control (i guess this is what it would be called) and a frequency (80mhz, 120mhz, and 40 i think) control for that sub output. What should this be set too? Currently its set to 80.... but I really have no idea what I'm doing

Phew. A lot here. I hope I didn’t just make you all confused. Thanks for your patience

That's a good question, iw as wondering that myself. My sony Hu has the LPF for 80 and 120 HZ or none. I could do none and just use the LPF on the Amp itself, but i do'nt know what frequency to crossover at. i Imagine it would have to depend on the sub, i have a really small 8" JL 8W3 and i assume that it can handle higher frequencies better than larger subs. i Was wondering what frequency would be a good place to cross over. Thanks. Sorry for butting in in yoru thread!!
