Alpine alarm / replacement transmitter: Urgent HELP
I have an old Alpine alarm that I had installed back in 2001 on my em2. Both of the key fobs are fried. Not bad for 7 years old. I ordered the replacement key fob for the alarm off of ebay. Alpine SEC-8463 key fob.
Question is how do I "reset" the alarm so that the new key fob works with it?
I have a reset button down near the left foot pad that Circut City installed with the alarm along with a flashing LED light on the steering colum.
When I hit the reset button I'm not getting any light on the led.....WTF
Please help

Re: Alpine alarm / replacement transmitter: Urgent HELP
new ones have to be reprogrammed to the alarm, im not even sure if its possible for you to do or you need the installers, interface tool.
