Unhappy Radio Problems "help"

I bought a used 2001 Civic. The radio was missing bought a new Sony radio and wire harness. I installed the radio, but I only get volume out of the right door speaker. I don't get any volume out of the read or the left door. I have read about an in dash amp. Is there an in dash amp and where would it be located? Could this be the problem? Would appreciate any and all help.

i am betting the speaker harness is loose of bad. happened to me once but you gotta get to the door panel to fix it. if its not that, idk. just pick up a stock cd/stereo from ebay for $25. maybe its the sony, wouldnt be the first time.

if the radio was missing, maybe the speakers are too? did you check to see if you have speakers installed?

Yes the speakers are there, I think it may be the speakers that are bad.
