AC/AC light wont turn off

AC/AC light wont turn off
my 02 lx coupe ....
the ac light is always on and the ac is always on..
it's as if the button is broken. The air is always cold when I turn the fan and you can hear the ac starting.
Anyone got any advice?

well if its sticking, it sounds like a switch problem, since the ac is working. you can buy that bottom piece with the 3 buttons on ebay as part of the console for only $30 i believe and swap it out.

yeah my ac is always and wont turn off when the **** is on the windshield. but when i change it to like head and feet u can turn it off. iono if its same with urs. so try it.

if you're in a defrost mode, the AC is on automatically. that's normal operation. it's to remove excess moisture from the air.
