Need some help on speaker mounting depth in sedan

Ok, so I'm looking at putting in some 6.5" Infinity Kappa 63.7i speakers all around. Crutchfield says that these won't fit for some reason. Why not? I don't think that mounting depth would be an issue.

If their too deep you can just build a spacer for them outta some wood. dont make it too think otherwise you wont be able to get your door panel back on. Seal around the spacker you make though so no air can get out.

Otherwise just try to find a set of speakers that will fit the factory hole without any modifications. Otherwise you could fiberglass your own piece to fit any speaker you want

Well I trimmed the circle on the inside of the doors to get my polks to right. If you make your own spacers you dont have to do that. The rear deck will most likely buy your problem. Not so much the speaker itself, but the middle were the tweeter hitting the rear deck.

These speakers definitely fit in the front doors with just the included spacer being used. I had to trim the hole but I think that would not be needed with a custom made spacer. As for the 63.7s fitting in the rear, my guess would be an affirmative. I have the 62.7s in the rear and I didnt have a problem with clearance. In my opinion the 63.7s should fit fine in the rear with plenty of clearance. Crutchfield is kind of retarded when it comes to what fits what. You can make pretty much anything fit with a little finesse. Good choice on the speakers. I love my infinities.
