radio keeps shutting off... help!

radio keeps shutting off... help!
i just bought my self an alpine cda-7893(60 watts) but when i make the volume too high it seems that the radio shuts off bye itself. some poeple are telling me get Caps and some are telling me that i have to change alternator. any one know wat the hell is going on??

Rep Power: 0 60 watts and it's shutting off??... did you upgrade the wire to 10 guage like Alpine reccomends..you may just be overheating your HU's internal amps...one it cuts out..ject the CD and see how hot it is
