trying to find a schematic or even wire layout for the head lights on a 2001 coupe.

basicly. what wires there are, what controls high and what controls low.
colors etc.

just look at the plug wire colors. the diagram is not really correct otherwise, its just for reference that i threw together for the wire functions. the 12v wire is always hot when hi and lo beam are on, thats what you tap to the upgrade harness trigger. when you use lo beam, the 12v wire is hot, lo beam wire is ground, and hi beam wire is hot. when hi beam is used, 12v wire is hot, lo beam wire is hot, and hi beam wire is ground. this is for h4 headlight only in usa.

but if you use a new relay harness, all you need to do is tap the 12v wire for trigger, then the harness sends power from batt to ballast (the ballast gets grounded to chassis). im assuming this is for hid?
