93 D15 O2 sensor wiring (4 wire sensor)...
93 D15 O2 sensor wiring (4 wire sensor)...
OK all, I'm a noob here, although not to cars in general. I need to know which wires are which on a 93 Civic LX D15 on the O2 sensor. The car needed a new sensor and I got a new one that needs the OEM connector spliced on. On the new sensor, there is a purple wire (signal to ECU), two brown wires (heater wires), and a tan wire (ground). On the car's existing OEM sensor, the four wires are white, green, and two blacks. I'm assuming from prior cars that white is the signal wire, green is the ground, and the two black wires are the heater wires. Is this correct? Also, does it matter which heater wire connects where when hooking them up?
Thanks in advance for the info - new to Civics in general and trying to get up to speed, not to mention start getting the gas mileage this thing should get.
