check if wires behind the deck are touching or if you hooked up the organge illumination wire, it wont work and you dont need it.

Re: gauge lights shorted

illum wire can be used, it just dims the deck light when parking light is turned on. the dimmer wire you dont use, but if you somehow connected it wrong or grounded it out, you fried the dash lights and there is NO fuse for that circuit. so have fun replacing all those lil pieces and cluster. if you checked every fuse and theyre all good, then you burnt out the whole circuit.

Re: gauge lights shorted

You may want to check fuse #2 under the hood (it's a 15A).

Hey Gearbox. If he were to swap in a new cluster would that fix this problem? I blew mines as well but am interested in just doing a 03-04 swap instead of just replacing with same. Or could it have blown outside of the cluster? What would be the easiest way to fix this problem DIY if possible.

Re: gauge lights shorted

well idk if it burns the wiring too, i am guessing if you replace the dash pieces and they work again, then its just the pieces and replacing the cluster would work too. im sure i have a spare dial piece i can send you with some bulbs.
