Constant rumbling coming from subs
How does it not seem to be the RCA's? Try unplugging them from the amp and see if the subs still rumble. If they do, you know its either: Power, GND, Remote lead (this actually happens!), or the amp itself. If the RCA's are causing it, try eliminating the RMT lead next by jumping from the + to the RMT in. Still there or not? If it is, PWR and GND problems are a little difficult to troubleshoot, so try swapping out amps or bringing yours to a shop to have them bench test it.
i just had a kicker amp do this to me...drained my battery and all.. it just would not stop..even with car off...so i took it to the people who sold me the amp .. and they told me it was defective.. so they gave me another one free.
I tried switching out the rcas and still same problem, when i unplug them the noise goes away. I pluged my ipod into the rca jacks and sounded fine. Not exactly sure what you mean with the remote lead.
You should try a new ground, 12V, and maybe even accessory at the deck. If you unplug the RCAs at the deck (but not at the amp) does the sound go away?? If it does it's an issue with the panasonic unit (or it's install). If the sound doesn't go away with RCAs unplugged from the deck, it's RCA routing.
This leads me to believe the problem is with the deck. Upgrade connections (especially ground) as I mentioned and maybe even bench test the deck. Try swapping the pre-out as well, if you're on sub try rear and see if the noise goes away at all.

so even when you mute the deck the rumbling persists? Im not dissing you but make sure the RCA's are hooked up right, like right and left is same on the deck and the amp. Again you probably have that done already but it is probably something stupid. Also try going through your EQ or bass boost on your deck. Also check you amp and adjust the bass boost there. Start at 0 for everthing and maybe it will stop
EVERYTHING is hooked up correctly, when i mute it it goes away. I have had this set up for a little while and no problems. Havent changed the amp subs connections etc. This came out of no where the other day and have no idea what it could be

is it coming out of both subs? Maybe one of your subs unloaded/overexerted. Maybe its voice coil popped. try disconnecting one sub at a time. Thats if you have more then one sub.
Upgrade ground means to run your own ground wire from the deck to a bare piece of metal connected to the chassis. Scrape off all the paint and screw it in real well.
Starting to sound more and more like a problem with the unit.
