please help!!!

i have a 2002 civic now i want to replace my head unit but thats not the problem u know the little compartment rihgt under the cd player well the kit i got doesnt have that little door and i want that door ive seen rides with different cd players and the little door so if any one knows where to get this kit or anything else could you please help me[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

That little door your talking about- it came on my car and I to took out the face and replaced it with a JVC. The only prob I had was getting the right harness for my face. Even though it is the right one, the face can be hard to take off cause it's not quite fluch with the dash. You can probably contact your dealer for the part. That pocket with the little door can be installed in seconds, it just pops in and out when you have the stereo out.

I think there is one manufacturer that makes the kit so the door part stays. You may want to try posting this under I.C.E. and you might get a better response. I just bought the cheap kit at got rid of my door thing. Good luck!

you need the metra mounting kit that only does the top to keep the pocket. i got one at a local car audio shop. i have a kenwood kdc-mp919 head unit and i still have my pocket [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
