Radio has no sound

Mute Wire?
I had the same problem not too long ago in my 00 Civic LX. Radio stopped working, an would occassionally work, usually when taking off or stopping, an sometimes cornering. Took out my deck to find a "yello and black" wire. The wire is a mute wire, whenever i touched the tip of the wire to anything metal, my radio would stop producing noise. Folded the wire over an tapped it off, an have had no problems since. (my radio is a aftermarket pioneer)
