does anyone know how to deaden the roof/ceiling in a 03 civic coupe? my roof would flex during loud bass hits and now im wanting to deaden the roof.

Remove the headliner and deaden away - use either a high quality mat or liquid or both and cover it with a layer or 2 of closed cell foam. It also helps alot with wind and rain noise. Worth doing.

sorry, but what/where is the headliner? how do i remove this part?

ill be using raamat deadner. would it be benefical to put a layer of Ensolite foam on top of that deadner?

The headliner is the fabric covered lining for the interior side of the roof. You need to remove all of the trim that touches it, lights, visors, etc - not hard, just time consuming. There are a few extra steps if you have a moon roof.

Ensolite will help alot.

The shop manual has model specific steps to remove the headliner. It isn't hard, just time consuming since you have to remove all of the upper trim. Like most things on our cars, 8mm and 10mm sockets, a screwdriver and a clip puller are all you need. If the OP wants to proceed and gives us more details, we can give hime further guidance.
