car speaker noob with questions.
i have polk db 650 speakers in the front. is it okay to put a component system in the rear? or should the component system be in the front. Also can you have a front and rear component system together in a car?
You CAN add components to the rear. Nobody is around to stop you from doing it. However, the sound coming from the rear should be considered a "rear fill." In my opinion and I'm sure others will agree.. it'd be more of a waste of money to put components in the rear. I used to have components in the rear, however I sold them and replaced them with coaxials.
It's true. Unless if you are trying to do a car theater...But even a car theater don't need exceptionally good speaker in the rear too (consider home theater, the front speaker are always *better* than the rear)
