POLK vs INFINITY

Everyone.. I've decided to throw some money down and completely re-do my stereo system. I've been looking at getting either all Infinity Kappa's or the Polk EX series speakers in 6.5" for the doors, 6X9" in the rear deck and 1" tweeters, then replacing my 2 10" Pioneer subs in the trunk. Which are the better speakers? Any other choices I should consider ??

as far as polk goes, i dunno, but infinity's are real good. you also might want to consider mb quart. Ive had both products before and they're both great.

It's hard to tell anything by listening to demo's in a showroom, but I decided to go with the 6.5 Kappa components up front. That was a year ago and I'm still very satisfied with them.

Well.. It looks like everyone is pleased with the Kappa's. So I'll probably end up getting them instead of the Polks. I guess I also need to check out the MB quartz, I've never seen them around here. My birthday is Sunday, so I've got a couple more days to decide on what to get. My wife said she would buy the door speakers for me, so I figured I'd just go all out and replace everything.

Thanks guys !

The POLK DX Series isn't too impressive, the MoMo's are WAY Overpriced, You Can't go wrong with Kappa Components, Also I'd check out DEI Studio componnets if you get the chance..

Cheers

I was thinking about ordering the Kappa 3 ways for my front doors, but I'm wondering if it would be better to go with a component set; unfortunately, the rear deck in the Sedan's limits me to a 61/2, but would it be better to go with 3 ways up front and two ways in back, or components all around?

personally, I would go with a component set up front and either 2 ways or a just the woofer from a component set. definitely wouldn't put a component set in the rear deck. it would be cool to put components in the rear doors, but that would be some custom work there.
