help me music has ceased!

Today i turned on my car and upon hearing my Cd i turned it down to silent so i could say goodbye to my gf. Now out of her driveway i turn it back on and it is silent. I have the factory CD player option for a LX. No sound at all for cd or radio, its not just the cd. I also have aftermarket Polks and Infinities which i hope no connections have came loose, but that shouldnt cut the circuit to all the speakers right? What should i do, do u think its something behind the cd player, all the functions work on it just as i turn up the volume no sound comes out. I have connections on speakers come out, but that only affects that speaker. What would cut all speakers and still allow my cd player to turn on and such?

Thanks for ur advise,
Brandon

PS The price you pay for installing yourself huh?

Try smacking the thing, I've had the Cd and AM/FM button stick on me if their both being held down nothing works........

For some reason everything in my civic sticks, the drivers side light can push in but you have to punch the carpet around it to get the button to come back out for the light to turn on, same deal with my radio sometimes.

The Honda service guys in edmonton must just be really greasy or something.........

If It's an OEM part..never try fixing it or doing anything about it yourself.. Just take it into the dealer..
