I have an '05 ex coupe, and I was trying to tap into something with 12v for a booty call. Instead of going through the battery like the DIY insisted, there was mention that it could be cleaner from the radio 12v or the cigarette lighter? How can I distinguish which cable to tap into?

i have the same thing on my car. all i did was hook it up straight to the batt so that you could use it even when the car is off.
and for tapping the wire just tap from inside using the fuse box.
