Sound system

Hi I need help installing a system.

I have a Sony Xplod 600W XM460GTX amp, and a Kenwood KDC2019V headunit (no faceplate, need a new one at ~$40). I don't think I really need a sub since the bass from the stock speakers seem fine to me.

Is there a way to wire the amp to the speakers and the stock headunit? (So I don't have to buy a new faceplate of course). If not, should I just buy a better headunit?

Any advice, tips, and help is greatly appreciated.

4Saris is an unknown quantity at this point
Yes, there is a way to wire the headunit to the factory radio, but you have to buy a CONVERTER. You can get them at any car audio shop.

However, that amp will kill your stock speakers as will most.

Save up, buy a nice head unit and build on it from there.

Where are you located, maybe someone can help you locally?

I'm in san diego.

So what kind of amp do you reccommend for the stock speakers? I have "premium sound" for my model if that makes a difference.\

I'm debating on whether I should just get a 10" sub and use the amp I have with it. A guy I know who works for the car audio department at Best Buy said it would work...

I probably will buy a better headunit since the aftermarket one I have isn't very good.

stock deck is good with stock speakers because both have low power. if you get a higher power deck, you can use stock speakers just dont turn it up loud. if you get aftermarket speakers, they will most likely need more power than even a new deck can give. so you need an amp too.
