if it's a 5 speed you can only fit 4.5" mids in kicks.. (like mine ).. We tried to get 6.5's in there but it just ain't happening...go with Kicks..go with the Kicks....I got my made for $300US and I spent about 15 hours in the car setting up my staging with a wee bit of help from the installer...

6.5's in the doors 4.5's in the kicks ..6.5's don't have as smooth and detailed a midrange because the cone is heavier and transient response suffers a little. 5.25's might fit if you have a really vreative installer, but I don;t think you'd get too good of a sound stage that way.

Focal PolyGlass $349
JL XR 3-ways $389
Those are the 2 Really good one's at a very reasonable price for 3-ways
little more pricey
CDT Classic 3-ways $399
Of these..I'd reccomend the Focals most..Best midbass of the 3, best tweeter,, midrange detail is excellent, but not as detailed as the CDT's,
the JL's of the 3 don't stand out over the Focals or CDT's in any way...

Get an installer who is an artist at what he does and anything is possible. I will be using 8" subs in my kickpanels, 4" & tweet in each a-pillar....plenty of leg room....four 12" subs & four amps where the back seat used to be and a fully functional trunk with full size spare. I'm just trying to point out that almost anything is possible, nothing is exact as far as what will fit and what will not. Think crazy and go for it.

SQ.. the only way that's possible is if he cuts through the fenderwells and welds on or makes fiberglass housings otherwise.. hello road .. it's possible to fit shallow mount 6.5's yes.. but the ang;e they would be at wouldn't image well at all. so it's not worth doing..

All I can say man is wait for the pics.
By the way, my installer has 10" subs in his kickpanels. His shop partner has 12" subs in his doors. Talk about upfront bass!

A dumptruck? lol There has got to be a great story with that!
The dude with 12's in his door can only roll them down halfway. This stuff can get crazy but it sure is fun. Never thought I'd have a system like this but looks like I might pull it off this time. It only took me until I was 41 to get it!

nice dude. I want to get a nice home theater setup, but I guess I would have to move out of my parents home first. I'm not spending money on something to put in their living room that I never get to use because my cousin lives there right now. grr...

The ID Chameleons are a very nice component set. Good crossovers and you also get the option to mount the tweeter on top of the mid which gives you a nice point-source coaxial setup. Note that they do need a decent amout of power so keep that in mind.
