someone please explain amps to me....
alright, about to atempt wiring an amp. first off (1) how do i bridge a 4 ch amp into 2? (2) where do i ground it too? its sitting on top of a basic 2 10s box. (3) what is the remote conector for?? (4) any other basic syuff i should know?

Well I can answer a few of your questions...
The instructions that came with the amp shows how to bridge it.
The ground is the black wire that is bolted to the vehicle body for safety. Just drill a good size screw and sandwich the wire in there, that's what I did. Or find a hole that's already in the trunk and secure it.
The remote wire just turns the amp on and off whenever the head unit (aka radio) goes on and off.
Make sure you have someone help you that knows a little about this because you might screw your car or yourself up doing it by yourself...

if it's to run your subs 99% of 4 channel amps only have a low pass crossover on 12 channels so one sub would be running full range.. take it to an installer..spend the Big $60 for them to install it and hook it all up for you.

that's what I would recommend or have a friend that knows how to do it and can teach you. The first amp I installed, I mostly watched my brother do and then I slowly learned how to do it. Now I hook up all his stuff. lol. but for real, I would have someone do it for you and let you watch and maybe explain it so that you get a better idea of what is going on.
