You sure can, go to radio shack, buy a 15V ac\dc adapted ($15 or so), 1 foot of wire and a switch
strip the end of the plug
take the wire cut into 3 equal pieces
take 2 of the wires and connect to the red wire, cut on in half and put switch in-line
connect switch red wire to the remote terminal, and the other red wire to the positive terminal,
connect white wire to ground,
connect your rca's, and subs
your ready to go, when you not listening to your music, just flip the swith cand the amp will turn off.

lol, too funny. you could also get a deep cycle battery and hook it up to a charger every night an hook it up like normal, but that would cost MUCH more than the converter that he mentioned.

You need a power converter..preferably one a little more powerful than you're amp. a 600 watt a/c - D/c converter run you about $220

Or you could go to your local HOME AUDIO store and buy a powered subwoofer. Just run your RCA's into it and set the gain and frequency on the back. Would seem a lot less complicated, you can usually pick one up fairly enexpensive unless you go crazy with it. I paid $400 for my Klipsch KSW-12 (450 watts)
