I was wanting to hook up one of the indash pop-out screens. I was wandering if the OEM indash CD changer could be wired to work with the aftermarket deck. Has anyone done this?

It should be possible.. the OEM CD Changer uses an FM Modulator and hooks in through the antenna connection..

The only one that MIGHT allow you to control an OEM CD Changer is the Alpine. I'm not sure about the new ones but when I had my '92 Accord it would control certain Alpine changers. I'm not sure if they still do or in what models, but Alpine actually makes/made the head units in most Hondas. As far as the RF Modulator that doesn't allow you to control it with your radio, just listen to it.. but the OEM CD Changer is not an RF Modulator unit.

Here, check out this link, there is a cable that allows you to do it. I'm not sure if this is the right cable because it only lists to 99, but it will get you started Changer Cable

Okay, I'm sorry it is late. You want to use an aftermarket radio to control a factory changer?.. that I do not know!! I was thinking the other way around, factory head unit, aftermarket changer!

Again I think this is my 4th Edit.. Upon further reading I believe I was right in the 1st place only in reverse order. Apparently that same cable will allow the reverse effect, but only with an Alpine (Honda radios use the Alpine protocol) Read Here
