I just ordered an OEM radio bezel off of ebay that I will be molding a 7 inch monitor into upon arrival. Since, this will take up both dins I am debating where to put the dvd player. The best idea I have come up with is ini the location where the 2 dummy switches and cigarette lighter are located. Has anyone attempted this before or can at least verify that there is clearance behind there to fit a dvd player?

Nope, no one has ever tried it. Not even the people with the 40 or so threads and DIY's about it. I wouldn't ask any one of the 500 or so members here that did actually try this and accomplish it if it will work. I also would not click the little button that says "SEARCH" at the top and attempt to find any of the aforementioned 40 or so threads dealing with this, as it would be futile. Instead, I'd have posted yet another thread and used bandwidth that wasn't necessary to do, and slow the site a tad more.

Can anyone tell if I'm being sarcastic? Oh, and I did answer your question above, you just have to sort through the facetiousness.
