Okay making the Box 3/4"MDF.. either a Rotozip or Router with Carbide 1" long cutting bits.. Table saw with 75+ tooth carbide blade...make Very Very straight cuts... Pre drill the holes for the screws.... Screw every 3-5" on the angles....Use Liquid nails glue only..(cause NOTHING else will do .. After it's all build.. then Use black Silicone and put a nice bead on every internal joint....

Hope you understand this..I'm tired.

Cheers

or if you wanna take a different approach you could linethe inside of the box with fiberglass resin and it will form a solid airtight seal

Hmm...I'm getting ready to build a box for my S12L7s. I'm using 3/4" MDF, Heavy Duty Liquid Nails, 2" wood screws every two inches (overkill, I know...but hey, I have plenty...might as well use 'em), and Liquid Nails FlexTite to seal it really good. I'm also going to counter-sink my screws and fill the holes with Elmer's wood filler. Then, I'm gonna sand it, prime it, paint it metallic silver, and then put about four coats of clearcoat on it to make it nice and shiny and protect the silver.
