What's up everyone? I was interested in purchasing a new Kicker ZX 750.1 Amp, and I was wondering if anyone new anything bout the ZX series from Kicker. I went to my local audio shop and they said that they were really good amps, better than the KX series (dk if this is true?) and better than the punch series of RF (but comparable to the Power series). Anyone got any info, claims, experience to back this up? Just wondering. Also, I would like to get a general consensus on what the best brand of amp (preferably Class D) for subs is from experienced users who have dealt with several types. I know its a generic question, but any info would help. Thanks.

i only have a sec, but here's my $.02... there are a thousand brands, and i'm sure every one has it's fanbase, so you're looking at about a thousand recommendations... i love Kicker gear, and i've heard nothing but good things about the ZX series, so i say go for it, but it's all personal preference...

make sure you get an amp that's CEA-2006 compliant so you know that you're getting the power you pay for, and buy from a company like Crutchfield that offers factory warranties and return policies just in case... good luck with your search

I purchased a Kicker 06ZX700.5 and I love it. I've had mainly Alpine amps in my car but couldn't pass up the price of this 5-channel amp. This pushes more power than my old F307 and 301M combined. This amp is awesome. I have it hooked-up to a single 10" R-type...check out my pics to see it installed. However, that being said...it's still personal preference!
