Fuse for push-button ignition

I'm installing a push button ignition along with switches for the accessories. For the power I have a fused distribution block from the battery, and my question is, what kind of amperage levels am I looking at, so I can get an appropriate fuse? There's got to be a lot of power (this includes the starter button also), but I don't want to let any more power past the fuse than I have to, so could anyone give me a ballpark estimate on what fuse I should get? Thanks.

First thing I would do is make sure my fuse holder took many standard sized fuses, so I could pick from a range, just in case I got the wrong size fuses.

After that, I would probably think more in terms of the current capacity of the wire, rather than the ignition. Ultimately, the fuse is there to protect the car from a short, so all I really want that fuse ot do is burn before the wire does in case of a short.

alternately, I could buy a series of small fuses, starting at 25 amps, say, and put one in and try to start the car. if the start fails, id put in a 30 amp. If the car successfully started, id probably put in a 35 or 40 and call it a day.

fuses are pretty cheap, so i guess experimenting until it works then bumping it up 5 amps would be a good way to go.
