first of all, i have a little bit of distortion coming through one of my tweeters. i went to a shop and asked them about it, and they said turn the gain down on the amp, so i did. the more i turn it down the more it goes away, but never COMPLETLEY. i checked my wires, nothing is really touching, and i have brand new rca's, so if anyone has an answer to this or an idea even i'd appreciate it, as this is VERY upsetting at this point. also, i was wondering about equalizers... i don't know a ton about them but i would like something that would allow me to turn up my subs and change bass and treble... what do you all use for "tuning" what should i do in that respect?

What brand tweeter?? What brand amp?? What is your crossover set at?? Give us some more info and then we can help you out.

alpine amp with alpine dddrive components, and which crossover do you mean, amp or speaker?

is only 1 tweeter and the other's fine?..

it's mostley the one, but the other does make noise once in a while, the back speakers are fine though, this is all off of a 4 channel amp (alpine)

ok i don't think i'm being specific enough, sorry. When the car is on accessory, i do not seem to get any noise through my speaker, and if i do it is so slight you'd have to have your ear on the tweater. when the car is on though, and the volume is at 0, i am gettng a sort of buzzing distortion sound through my 2 front tweaters, especially the front left. when the volume is loud, it seem to go away because it sounds better, but that is probably just the sound drowing it out. the front components that are doing this are ddrive alpine hooked up to a 4 channel amp. i have infinity components in the back and they are fine... i am confused and have tried about everything, hope that helps...
