Installing 6 X 9's?
I got some new 4-way 6X9's yesterday and I'm curious how to install them.. If there an easier way than removing your whole back deck that someone has come across? Any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Thomas.

Hey...I did mine and i was a nooB at once too. You do hacve to remove that whole rear deck in order to get to the speakers. Here is the do it yourself with great pictures. It takes about 30mins to take it off, jsut take your time. Once you take it out, you'll be a pro. Its really not too hard.

no need for all of that disassabling just need to pop the clips inside the truck and the back deck will come out. dont need to take out the seats and panels. then when done just put the deck back in place and wack it till u hear the clips pop

No you have to take all that $hit apart. I really dont think there is another. I have the Crutchfield Master Sheets and it gives almost the same instructions.
But if you figure out a new way to do, let us all know.

hey guys, i've removed my rear deck in my coupe, and you certainly have to remove all that back seat **** and rear side interior panels to get it off. unless you wanna do some cutting
you have to remove the rear deck. Dizzy, what brand & model 6x9 did you get. not a lot of 6x9's fit w/o some tweaking (trunk springs)

I have Power Acoustik 4-way 320 watt 6X9's.. I can get them at cost, and I've heard them before, they sound great. Hopefully they do fit in my Civic.. I'm still unclear how to do it.. Do I pop the clips and take out the rear deck or so I have to do all the stuff on the website?
Thank you,
Thomas.

im telling u i had honda put in mine and all they did was pop the deck lid not seat removing or anything. also ive had my car repainted 5 times and they put the seats in before they put the deck in so they can retint the windows.
