Screens - Flip Out Versus Flush Mount

Who prefers which? Would you rather have a flip out screen in your car, or a screen that's just mounted right in the dash? Advantages? Disadvantages?

I've had both first I had a pioneer in dash flip screen, it was nice but a lot of people were telling me how they could mess up and not flip out anymore. The advantage of a flip screen is that you usually can take off the front piece and its better as far as safety reasons. Now I have a eclipse mounted in dash. I love it to death thank God for navi too! Down fall however is that it's there and very visable to the eye.

I have a 5 year over the counter exchange warranty on my flip out so I'm not worried about the motor. So what's wrong with it being visible to the eye as far as flush mounts go? This is the stuff I was talking about.

i'd rather have one mounted. most likely someone's not going to break into my car for it.

Well people that "want it"........but my eclipse has a 2 year theft warranty so I'm really not worried. I just hate dealing with stuff like that.

Take a guess as to what I prefer... for ease of use, and lack of getting stolen:

I work at a car video/audio store and i work with all differnt types of dvd player.. Out of all of them i would go with a double din (flush) dvd player over ther flip screen casue when we install it into customers cars, they look so much cleaner, and it doesnt get in the way of the other button and ***** that flip screen do..
