Sub Problem
Sub Problem
hey guys ive been having sub issues, lately my sub has not been hittin as hard. I noticed that my headlights were dimmin everytime i bumped, so i disconnected my amp to let my car recharge. I reconnected it after a month or so and it still didn't seem like it was bumpin like it use too. So i went and bought a 1.7 farad cap but before that i read somewhere that i should replace the battery first. Alot of pple recommended an optima battery yellowtop 51 series so im about to go and buy one. If anyone else has any sugguestions on what to do, your advise would be most appreciative. thx

You don't have to buy the group 51 size optima, should you decide to go that route. The standard size fits fine, and gives you more CCA's.
The cap should have been a last resort. It's more of a bandaid than a fix. And even then it's not guranteed to have an effect on dimming.
