I switched my order today to the Single Voice Coil 10" Type-R's
My question is what Kenwood Excelon Amp would be best for these subs. I think I need one that is 600x1 at 2 ohms??? Is that right??

Rep Power: 0 okay with the 2 SVC subs.. you need a 2 ohm Mono Stable amp.. the kenwood is 2 ohm stereo stable.. 4 hm mono stable..
RF BD500.1 or MTX6500D are your only 2 worthy options. Also..you have to wire the subs in Paralell to get a 2 ohm load.. wiring them in series will get you an 8ohm load.
Cheers

Rep Power: 0 You need an amp that is 2 ohm mono stable. You would wire the voice coils in series to make each sub a 4 ohm sub. Then wire the two subs in parallel to bring the load to 2 ohm mono.
