What is the difference between the two???? The reason I am asking is because i can get either for the same price on a set of two 10" alpine type-r's and I don't know that much about this stuff.

well either it will have 1 voice coil or 2..It depends on what amp you want to get. If your amp is 4 ohm mono stable.. 2 ohm mono.. or 1 ohm mono

Well depends on the amp you want.. If you want a class a/b amp get DVC 4 ohm subs.. wire each sub in paralell, wire the 2 subs together in series.
if you're amps 2 ohm mono stable.. get to SVC 4ohm subs.. wire them in paralell get a 2ohm load..

Most preferably you'd want a class D amp for your subs because it will be less of a drain on your cars electrical system, for your subs spend $319 get 800Wrms of power.. and clas D Efficiency and grab an MTX6500d from onlinecarstereo.com
