So Ive noticed that in the past year that I have had my alarm/remote start 2way pager...the thing has NEVER gone off!!! WTF mate!?? So Im looking in all the logical places that a brain would be mounted and couldnt find it ANYWHERE, so I brought it back to Circuit City today for them to turn up the sesctivity...I was able to jack my car up and change my exhaust without the thing going off...Well he calls me back say that there is something wrong with the alarm...he would shake the brain and the thing wouldn't even go off...so now I have to send the brain to Codesystems to have them fix the damn thing and now I have no alarm, no remote start, and NO KEY LESS ENTRY!!! I feel like a retard locking and unlocking my car with the key!!!
Sorry just wanted to rant because I spent close to $500 on this thing to have it never go off

I put a cheap alarm on my Cavalier...It would go off when my friend revved up his truck next to me. And that was on a medium sensitivity...

Yeah, sounds like you got a screwed up alarm. I can't believe you were able to take off your exhaust...lol.
Mine goes off when cars with exhaust go by it, well sometimes it goes off or just chirps. I have mine set to full sensitivity.

lol i paid the same for my viper and 4 yrs later its working still. but yea i'm doing the key thing too lol cause i need a new siren put in and i'm lazy.
Yeah, I had one back in the day and it would go off for no reason when nothing was around but wouldn't go off if you beat on the car. I had some haters at the mall key and kick the crap outta my car cuz the stupid alarm wouldn't go off.
I got the same system I think Code/alarm with pager and I had to drive to Circuit City to adjust the sensitivity 3 times cause it would go off when it would rain no joke sounds like you got screwed...

The latest Code Alarm stuff does suck. We sell this stuff and hate it, the 2 way products are trash and don't work worth a ****. There cheap stuff is good though.
My old Code Alarm PowerElite PC-7600 is running strong for over 2 years. This is the best stuff they created, it all started to go to crap after that. Go back to where you got it from, be nice, and hopefully, they will get a replacement unit for you. In my opinion, get them to replace it with a non 2 way unit, Code Alarm (owned by Audiovox) doesn't know how to make 2 way units.
