Rep Power: 0 Help: Cannot play radio with CD in player ??
I just bought a 2002 Civic (which I really enjoy so far)
The only problem that I have noted is that when there is a CD in the drive, the AM/FM button will not switch to the radio as the manual says it will.
The result is that if I want to listen to the radio, the CD must be removed first. A small problem, but a pain nonetheless. This is the factory radio. Have I missed something obvious?
Thanks in advance for any advice / help.
Paul

Rep Power: 0 No problem. If they end up wanting to charge you to fix it you might want to look at getting an after market head unit. You can get a decent entry level Alpine for around $200 that will be better than the stock one.

Rep Power: 0 I must say that I am impressed so far with Honda and their people.
When I called the dealership, they were extremely helpful. They took my info, said they would get a replacement and only wanted to know when I could bring in the car.
A bit of an inconvience, but excellent service as it does say "as is" on the sales contract.
All free of charge. Well done Honda.
