i know i could find out by searching, but i did a quick search, and too many results came back. too lazy to sift through hundreds of posts to find a quick answer someone can give me...

Rep Power: 0 I couldn't find any reference on JL's site for the v1, but these are the v2 specs.
It looks like the v2 has an "optimum" RMS power handling of 150W...hope that helps a little!

i believe it is dual 4 ohm
EDIT: dual 2 ohm voice coil and the rms is supposed to be 250 but i would believe 300

I believe they only came in a 2 or 4 ohm configuration. Pretty sure they didnt do the 6 ohm versions.
anyways. if you are looking to buy a w3v1, you'll be told what the configurations are you have available for you at the time of purchase.
you can worry about the amp after you get the drivers.

mmmm good point..... The 12W3 V1 is rated for 250w RMS. Do you also want help finding an amp for this sub? I guess I could do that 2

400 is fine, and so is 600. 500 is just a ballpark.
you can find many choices from sound domain to ebay to ikesound to retail.
just make sure the amplifier power rating is in "rms" watts at the specific load in "ohms" that your subwoofers will be wired to TOTAL. you'll be good ot go
