look i built a new night stand

i was gonna get an suv but then i smartend up and got a civic. problem is i already had bought 3 15's. o-well now i'm using this one as my computers subwoofer. i got some monster mini to rca from circuit city and hooked up a home theater amp for my mids and highs and then ran off the sub output to another amp that pushes my 15. so now my computer can quad out

like 2 hrs maybe i had to wait for the paint to dry. i got 1/4 plexi from homedepot but its too thin you need 1/2 inch cause it vibrates a lil. the rest is 3/4 mdf and a piece of pvc 4'inch for port.

he he Not too shabby.. .. I have a few coffee ables like that myself. Each with a 15" Eclipse 87150... Yeah 1/2 Plexi is a must. Or if you can find some at a slightly higher price.. 1/2" Lexan.

Cheers

i thought i would give it a try but 1/4 just has too much flex. i used 1/2 polycarbonite plexi on the last box i built and it doesn't flex at all and one side is poly and the opposite is poly with the 15 mounted to it and it doesn't move. o -well i never turn this one up enough here at home to have it flex anyways. but when i want to show it off it goes .... rattle rattle

I am going to build one of those. you have inspired me. I am going to use all plexiglass though or maybe lexan if I can find some for cheap. that is my new mission.
