Well Best for SPL, Best for sound quality..or Best Overall.

Best Overall is the IDMAX,

Best for SPL is Digital Designs 9515

Best for Sound quality is Illusion Audio ND12

Give us more info on what you're looking for. How much power you want to put to them.. and how much $$$ you have for subs..??

Cheers

Want a Crapload of bump and a good price..

And still sound very good. go to Audiomobile Get a pair of Audiomobile EVO-R's (My subs) put them in a 3.1cu.ft Neclosure with a single 5" round x 19" Long port. This will sound quite very good and Bump harder than your ears will ever handle. For an amp. You have alot of options. a JBL BP1200.1 would be an awesome choice.

You can get all this. wiring and enclosure included for under $1100.

Cheers

Edit: On second thought. You'd need a High output alternator with that much power.

Get a pair of EVO's and an MTX6500D

The JL 12W6 are always a popular choice.

I like the Rockford Fosgate Power Hx2 12".

Ojay so you want alotta bump..but worry about thieves.. Hmm.. Car audio rule #1.. never bump your system in thief ppualted neighborhoods or when approaching parking lots... or just turn your system down when you're in your neighborhood.

If you want good clean bass that bumps quite good, get a pair of Cerwin Vega HED's and a 4-500Watt amp.. It'll bump quite nicely.

Cheers

ok you wanna bump , check this out , what you should do im my opinon , is get a decent pair of subs, obvioulsy depends on what kinda air space you wanna give up .. and the spend as much money you can on AMP power .. the extra head room with the amp is more than worth its money ... and do not turn the gains up with out someone who knows what hes doing ...cause power really doesnt me Sh#T ... you ca put a 1000 watts to one small 10 inch sub, its distortion that blows a sub thats why you will hear people sayin that you will blow a sub with less power compaired to more power..
Distortion is our nations number one sub killer ... LOL its not what you got its what you do with it ..

Well.. if you really want to risk the fire hazard and have your subs tear themselves apart go ahead.... Stay as far away from Legacy, Pyramid and Pyle as you can.. ahh are literally gabage...

about the amp and headroom comment.. that's false as well. Distortion can damage subs.. But what blowssubs is in fact power.. The Voice coil formers can and will melt...the coils will burn..Bye Bye sub...

I know too many with JL's that think they're the subs from god and can take anything.. then 2 weeks later they wonder what that really weird smell is and why they're sub don't work..... Any decent quality amp for subs if more than fine.. the Best subwoofer on the market as of now puts out 1.7% distortion from the cone allready. Most subs add 3-7% distortion to sound anyways.. Even Clipping won't affect a sub that much.. unless you're running more power than the voice coils can handle..

As I said before.. want cheap LOUD and sound something resembling decent.. 2 Cerwin Vega Vega series.. a Banpass enclosure and a USX600D..

all for under $500 + wiring..can get a louder, half decent sounding package than that and still keep reliability..

Cheers

In a bandpass for the pair.. about 500-600Wrms is perfect... Any more and you risk bottoming them out under the boxes tuning frequency.

Cheers
