Where to go about buying a Grounding Kit?
Anyone know where I would go about buying a Grounding Kit for my 7th gen, 2001 Honda Civic LX Sedan, automatic tranny? I saw it in the DIY section, and it seems like a good idea to do.
I know that you were reading one of Gearboxes threads earier and he might b making his own. Send him a pm or Google it

This kit only goes to one Valve Cover, compared to GearBox's going to each Valve Cover, is there a reason for this? Thanks I'll spend him a PM sometime

I believe that gearbox designed his based on a plate that goes to each coil. His version uses the same principle as the Weapon R. Connect coil packs together and ground to chassis. However if you just want the 1 wire I would bet that you could PM gearbox & he might set you up.

buy mine! the coil grounds are mostly for show, altho based on an actual product. i doubt they do much. the main kit is actually functional tho
That link you posted is wrong. you only need one chassis ground.

no get the power force factory replacement kit. that actually replaces the stock grounds with bigger wire for less resistance. And it does make a difference even if you don't notice anything. makes all the electrical components work better.

haha well thats cool if you want to make your own. Just make sure you get gold plate ring terminals and crimp them hard or the wires will come loose and cause problems. Here are the sizes if anyone wants to make their own. But you'll be surprised how expensive it gets just for materials when you're done.
power force (factory)
7 inch small
9 inch medium
11.5 inch (the one with battery terminal)
coil grounds
3x 7.25 inch
1x 8.25 inch

I just took mine off since I'm doing some other mods but I'll sell you mine if you'd like...
its in perfect condition (since wires cant really get worn down)
and you can have it for $25 +shipping (should be only $3-4)
let me know...I used 4 gauge blue wire with red end covers and gold connectors. In addition to getting the grounding benefit it looks great too.
here's what it looks like.
If you are interested in doing it yourself, I have the following packages available:
DIY Ground Kits $9.99 & $14.99
If you want a different length of wire, more/less connectors, just PM or email me and we will build your own kit. Wire is 4 gauge, connectors are heavy crimp style, gold plated. I have red, black, blue, purple, and silver wire.
