White Rabbit posted one a while back (some of you may not even know who he is, lot of noobs since the last time I posted). Basically you do as was describer above in it, if I remember correctly. Cut a backer board from 1/2" MDF for teh bottom. It's removable so you can take it out once it's to teh shape of the trunk and work on it outside the car. Basically once you have the backer board, you can put whatever you want in there and glass whatever you want on it. I'd try something simple first, and if it's your first glass piece, don't try anything too fancy. It's not going to be perfect, and probably won't even resemble your original idea. Glassing is something that takes time to master.
Here are a few sites with basic glassing introductions:
www.caraudiomag.com They recently did a glassing introduction series in the publication. It should be in their archives. They also do introductory stuff in every issue, from making negative molds, to a simple glass pod, to install basics. The magazine has been real good lately about helping the beginners.
www.glassmancustomforums.com Tons of info can be found here with all kinds of glassing related topics.
There are also links in the sticky on the main page of ICE as well that have some glassing stuff in them. Read and practice.
