Amp Problem
I have an amp that belonged to my brother awhile back (Legacy, junk I know), but when the key was in the acc position (motor off) it worked fine. As soon as the car would turn on (motor on) it wouldn't work. I'm stumped at what could possibly be wrong with it that it does that. Any ideas?

someone didn't wire the remote turn wire properly. they prolly tapped it off the ignition cause they were too lazy to take out the radio and connect it to the remote wire.

okay try this unhook the amp and open the hood. run two separate power wires from the battery + to the power and remote terminals. then run a ground from - battery to amp ground. see if the amp comes on. if it does, your wiring is bad in the car. if it doesn't the amp is bad.
