Pretty sure thats a dual box. model is 122..... 12" subs.... and 2 of them. Those subs you are getting run at 4ohm individualy and at 2ohm when wired in parallel so you need a mono =) check out crutchfieldadvisor.com for wiring diagrams. No such thing as a 14" btw (at least i dont think) =)

yea dude you dont need 2 subs whatsoever. u will be sacrificing quality to shell out the extra money to get 2, its a waste. just get 1 sub. 1 sub can rock a civic as hard or harder than it needs to be. trust us. get ONE

well, its up to you if you want one or two subs. If you have the space go ahead and get the two jl's I told you. If not, go ahead and get one, dual voice coil, so you can run it at a 2ohm load, and swap the amp. Low sky recommended you some good **** also, but I would stick to the Alpine 9847. I wouldn't go as low as 9841 as for the subs, I would say the reference infinity is comparable to the w0 jl. Also the 9841 does not have an MP3 Player, its up to you if you want that feature or not, but its nice to have for a couple bucks more.
BTW, for the box, 1.5cu f might be too much for JL W0. Go buy your box from best buy or circuit city. I know they have them for about 70 dollars, and try to get something close to 1cu f / sub.

They are 12's. I don't think they make 14inch subs.
You can find 11s, 12s, 13s and 15's but no 14 inch.

true, but then again there are some of us that are particularly fond of that holyshitican'tbreatheturnthatshitdown feeling, and 1 (or even 2) subs just don't cut it
