no not all hu's fit perfect. best bet is to find the deck you want, and see who can do it. If it's a perfect fit, you can do it yourself, if not you might want to get it done at a shop. I personally like the panasonic hu's, but they don't fit perfect, so i had to look around to see who could install it and make a new plate for it. Heres a pic, not the best, but gives you a idea of what it looks like.

you should try installing it yourself, it's real easy. n it'll save you $30-60. all you need is a dash kit and wiring harness. dont even need skills. just follow the instructions n it's done.

Its easy, takes a little bit of time. I have the Kenwood MP3 player, and it fits nice. I'll get my pics up when i get my film developed. Money for car leads to no money for a digital camera.

voice.. how'd you install your deck without the kit?
the stock headunit's face is awkward and nothing near the shape of a din chassis headunit's regualr face. you must have used some sort of kit to mount it.

$16 for a dash kit and $16 for a wire harness at best buy. Installed mine this weekend with a lot of help from a friend, but I probably could have had it myself. The dash kit looks great on my car, and the wire harness was a perfect fit. Saved myself $46 for the head unit install and $55 for the amp install
Oh, and when you start to take off plastic pieces in your car, it's normal to sound like its breaking. Don't worry about hurting it, that's just the metal clips prying apart.
