Go with either Alpine IVA-D310, or you can wait till the new Pioneer AVIC-N3 comes out, supposed to have all 3d models of some cities. Also Alpine has some new stuff coming out, the D100 i believe it is comes out in march, MSRP is like 200-300 cheaper than the D310 but has dvd built in too, but just a 6.5" screen. The Pioneer AVH-P5700DVD really isn't that great of a unit. To me it wasn't that great and seemed kinda cheap filling. Alpines sound quality is amazing and if you buy a Jensen you will end up hating it and wanting to sell it. Just as FiatDale stated, you get what you pay for. Why does Alpine stuff cost way more than Jensen, 1. Quality, 2. The name 3. Performance. Just saying man, wait till you have at least a grand to throw at one of these.

Z1 will be nice, but N3 is gonna prolly be more in his price range.
