Im a big fan of Zapco. Ive run their amps for a long time. I have a Studio 500 that puts out more than it knows what to do with. originally I had 2 of them wired to a set of Boston Z components and they screamed. Sound out of Zapco is top notch. You wont be disappointed.

Zapco makes great amps. If you want really high end though, maybe check out McIntosh. Those are incredible sounding amps, but very pricey. Good choice with the Type-x by the way, great speakers. Only ones I really like better than those are the focal utopias and the alpine f#1 spxz18t
